Delete your account
Notes Maker LM · Gaming Geek Studio
You can delete your Notes Maker LM account, and everything stored in it, at any time. This is a real deletion, not a deactivation — and it cannot be undone. There is no recovery window and no way for us to restore it afterwards.
Option 1 — from inside the app
This is the fastest route, and it takes effect immediately.
- Open Notes Maker LM and make sure you are signed in.
- Go to Settings.
- Open your profile, then choose Delete Account.
- Confirm when asked. Your account and its contents are erased before the screen closes.
Option 2 — by email
If you no longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you.
Please email us from the address on the account, and include:
- The email address your account uses.
- A sentence confirming you want the account and all of its content permanently deleted.
We reply within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner. We ask you to write from the account address because it is the only way we can confirm the request is really yours — we will not delete an account on someone else's word.
Please do not send us your password. We never ask for it and we cannot read it. If you are locked out, use Forgot password on the sign-in screen, or just email us and say so.
What gets deleted
Everything belonging to your account is removed from our systems:
- Your profile — name, email address and profile photo.
- Your sign-in credentials, so the account no longer exists and cannot be signed into.
- Every notebook, and every source in it — the original PDFs, images and audio files you uploaded, and the text extracted from them.
- Your entire chat history, questions and answers alike.
- Every Studio output — quizzes, flashcards, summaries, mind maps, slides, infographics, audio and video overviews — along with your progress through them, such as quiz scores.
- Your credit balance and the record of how credits were spent.
- Your subscription record on our side (see the caution below — this is not the same as cancelling).
- Your notification inbox and any registered devices, which are also unsubscribed from our announcement messages so they stop receiving them.
Retention: none. Deletion happens when you ask for it, not after a waiting period. Routine encrypted backups expire within 30 days and are never used to bring an account back.
What is not deleted
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, and we cannot cancel one on your behalf. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first — otherwise it keeps renewing after the account is gone.
- iPhone — Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Notes Maker LM → Cancel Subscription.
- Android — Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Notes Maker LM → Cancel subscription.
Deleting the app from your phone is not the same as deleting your account, and does not cancel a subscription either.
We also keep support emails for up to 24 months so we can follow up on a conversation, and purchase records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Neither lets anyone back into a deleted account. Any remaining credits are forfeited — credits have no cash value and are not refundable.
